Police in East Orange are on the search for suspects who occupied two vehicles that reportedly exchanged gunfire on Monday night.
According to preliminary reports, an EMS unit contacted authorities at around 11:30 p.m. when they observed two vehicles pulled up to each other and began to exchange gunfire in the vicinity of 385 Tremont Avenue.
The dark colored vehicles then sped away westbound on Tremont Avenue according to reports.
Police arrived at the scene and conducted the investigation.
There were no reports of injuries. East Orange officials did not reply for comments.
