Hudson County officials are investigating a shooting incident that injured two victims in Jersey City overnight.

The early morning shooting happened around 12:10 a.m. near 736 West Side Avenue.

A ShotSpotter device was activated in the community, which had officers on the scene investigating. Units found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his stomach near the Half Time Bar.

The individual was transported to Jersey City Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

While cops and Major Crimes detectives canvassed the shooting, Jersey City Medical Center officials notified police officials that a second person entered the emergency room suffering bullet wounds.

The victim was dropped off by private vehicle at the hospital.

Police believe that the hospital walk-in victim was injured at the West Side Avenue crime scene.

The investigation remains active, ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
