Newark Police are on the search for a suspect who carjacked a motorcyclist at a location in the city's Central Ward.
According to preliminary reports, officers responded to the Sonic restaurant -located in the 100 block of Springfield Avenue- after they received reports of a carjacking just before 9:15 p.m. Friday.
Units arrived and were told by the victim that an armed male took his motorcycle the sped form the scene.
Police say the suspect remains at large and no injuries were reported.
