Police officals reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident that had confirmed property damage on Sunday in Newark's North and West Ward borders.
It happened around 1:15 a.m. near 45 Roseville Avenue.
Officers rushed to the scene and found multiple shell casings that extended down the block and near Orange Street.
After searching for potential victims, police located at least four vehicles damaged after bullets struck them.
Police believe the shooters fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle immediately after the shooting.
The motive for the shot-fired incident has not been reported at this time.
