Police in Paterson are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred in a neighborhood in the city Saturday evening.
According to police, gunfire erupted in the area of East 25th Street and 10th Avenue at approximately 9:45 p.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after a search of the area, there were no injured victims found.
Police say a ShotSpotter activation indicated three instances of gunfire in the area.
There were no injuries reported and the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
