Jersey City Police are on the search for a suspect wanted for firing a gun on a street in the city Saturday night.
According to police, gunfire rang out in the teens block of Coles Street shortly before 6 p.m. where officers arrived and began to investigate.
While on the scene canvassing, police found evidence that a shooting occurred, but there were no victims found according to police.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
