There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred on a street in Newark Wednesday evening.
According to police, a ShotSpotter activation alerted police of nearly a dozen rounds of gunfire that rang out in the vicinity of 623 South 19th Street at approximately 7:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found multiple shell casings, but after they searched the area, they did not locate any victims according to reports.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
