Police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured overnight in Paterson.
Gunfire erupted in the 400 block of East 29th Street at around 11 p.m. sending several police units to the scene according to reports.
Officers canvassing the area located the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital and listed in stable condition.
There were no arrests immediately reported in the shooting.
