Police in Newark are on the search for suspects responsible for a Sunday afternoon shooting.
According to Police, at approximately 2:50 p.m., residents contacted police after they heard multiple rounds of gunfire erupt in the area of 15th Avenue and Hayes Street.
Officers arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after a search of the area, no victims were found.
Police located about a half dozen shell casings according to authorities.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
