According to Montclair Police, officers were called to the 7-Eleven after a report of a man who displayed a firearm inside the store.

The incident occurred when the suspect entered the shop to retrieve a mobile order.

When the employee asked to see a confirmation of the order, police said the suspect reportedly refused, instead lifting his shirt to reveal a handgun tucked in his waistband.

Police say the suspect then took the order and also grabbed a camouflage face covering from the sales display before leaving the store.

The individual is described as a Black male in his early 20s, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a black do-rag, white t-shirt, and black shorts. He fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
