Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a group who they say stole over $7,000 from a township motel in a distraction scam.
A man and three women worked together to steal more than $7,000 cash from the Broadway Motel in Franklin Township in Warren County.
On May 22, at approximately 8:25 a.m., the man and one of the women told the manager they were interested in renting a room and asked they could see one.
While the couple distracted the manager, the other two women entered the office and removed the cash from a drawer.
With the help of surveillance footage, police determined that the foursome used a dark-colored minivan, possibly a Honda Odyssey (last picture) as the getaway vehicle.
