A gunpoint robbery of a grocery store in Paterson has authorities searching for the suspect responsible.
Police were called to 28 Washington Avenue to take a report of an armed robbery that occurred at around 10 p.m.
Employees told units arriving at the scene that an armed black male suspect entered the store and pointed the weapon when he demanded cash according to preliminary reports.
The suspect reportedly wore a mask and dark clothing during the heist where an undetermined amount of cash was taken.
There were no physical injuries reported.
