Governor Murphy Lifts Stay-at Home Order, Urges Social Distancing

New Jersey’s Governor Phil Murphy lifted the stay-at-home order put in place In March to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

According to Governor Murphy, as the reopening plan nears Stage 2 with nonessential retail set to allow customers inside again next week.

Murphy said there has been progressing with fewer numbers of newly infected people and deaths in recent weeks as the reason to lift unprecedented restrictions put in place.

The stay-at-home order was Imposed March. 21.

The governor continues to urge everyone to keep social distancing.
