Glen Ridge Police Search for Suspect Wanted for Paintball Attack

The Glen Ridge Police Department is currently investigating an aggravated assault that occurred on Halloween day. 

According to police officials, at 11:20 p.m., the victim reported that an unknown older model vehicle, dark in color, with a loud muffler, pulled over to the side of the road in the 300 block of Washington Street.

Glen Ridge Police said the unidentified occupants, while in the vehicle, struck the victim with paintballs while walking on Washington Street and Hamilton Road.

Minor injuries were reported.

The Glen Ridge Police Department is investigating the matter and has been in contact with surrounding towns about this incident.
