Elizabeth Police are on the search for a suspect who robbed a gas station at a location in the city Tuesday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:40 a.m., police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress that occurred at the Fuel One gas station located in the 900 block of Olive Street at Route 1&9.
Upon arrival, employees told officers that a black male suspect arrived at the gas station wearing gray sweat pants and armed with a gun demanded cash.
Police say the suspect took about $400 before fleeing the scene.
There were no physical injuries reported.
