An investigation is underway into what caused a garbage truck to overturn into basin in West Orange early this morning.
First responders rushed to the 300 block of Mount Pleasant Avenue a little after 7:30 p.m. where they arrived to find a garbage truck that crashed then overturned into a watery basin.
The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
Nutley Hazmat crews were on the scene for a possible spill.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
