Authorities in Atlantic County announced that on Thursday, May 14, Jesse Winters, 44, of Galloway, was arraigned in front of the Honorable Pamela D'Arcy, P.J.Cr., on charges of third-degree theft, fourth-degree burglary, and fourth-degree obstruction.

The plea recommends three years flat in New Jersey State Prison, concurrent.
According to Atlantic County officials, on December 3, 2024, officers of the Galloway Township Police Department executed a search warrant on Winters' property located at 40A W. Morton Avenue.
Winters obstructed the investigation by attempting to flee from the residence into the woods, where he was ultimately arrested, ACPO officials say.
ACPO officials said that on February 21, 2025, officers of the Galloway Township Police Department responded to the Red Roof Inn and Suites for a report of a stolen motor vehicle.
Police received information that Winters was involved as the suspect who stole the vehicle, Atlantic County officials stated.
Police were further able to locate surveillance depicting Winters utilizing the vehicle, and he was charged accordingly, according to Atlantic County officials.
ACPO officials stated that on February 27, 2025, officers of the Atlantic City Police Department received a complaint that numerous tools valued at over $3,600 were stolen from employees of the Ocean Casino Resort. 
Police obtained surveillance footage of the incident, showing Winters entering a secured utility room where the tools were stored and stealing them, Atlantic County officials said.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 9.
