We are up early on this Wednesday morning, and depending on where you are in New Jersey, you may be waking up to a little frost on the windshield.
Good morning, New Jersey!
It is a chilly start across Newark and the North Jersey region, with some areas waking up to temperatures in the 30s. At 4:30 a.m., downtown Newark is around 48 degrees, so you’ll definitely want that warm coat if you’re heading out early.
Farther north, temperatures are even colder. Sussex County is around 32 degrees, Blairstown is at 36, Montville is around 38, Kearny is near 49, and Trenton is around 47
So depending on where you live, you might need that windshield scraper before getting on the road this morning.
The good news is that you’ll be able to shed some of those layers as the morning goes along.
According to the National Weather Service, we’ll have plenty of sunshine today with a high near 69 degrees. Light winds will become southwest at 8 to 13 mph during the morning.
Tonight will remain mostly clear with temperatures dropping to around 55 degrees.
So bundle up early, enjoy the sunshine later, and have a great Wednesday, New Jersey!
