We’re waking up to a cold start across Newark and the North Jersey region as we head into the second half of the weekend.

Good Sunday morning! If you’re just getting up with us around 5 a.m., make sure you grab the warm gear before heading out.
Temperatures in downtown Newark are sitting at 43 degrees, and with the wind, it’s feeling closer to the mid-30s in some areas — even flirting with freezing conditions in parts of the region.
If you’re heading out to early Sunday service or the bus stop, a coat is definitely a must this morning.
According to the National Weather Service, skies will be partly sunny through mid-morning before turning mostly sunny, with a high near 61 degrees.
Northwest winds will range between 10 and 18 mph.
Tonight, conditions will remain mostly clear, with a low around 48 degrees and a light southwest wind near 7 mph.
Hang on to that jacket for now, but better weather is on the way. Temperatures are expected to climb into the 80s by Tuesday, bringing a much more comfortable feel across the region.
Have a great Sunday, New Jersey
