The Newark and North Jersey region is waking up to freezing temperatures this Sunday morning, with temperatures hovering around 23 degrees in parts of North Jersey.
While the wind is not as strong as yesterday, it still adds to the chill in the air.
However, there's good news on the horizon, as a warm-up is expected in the coming days.
Today, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 41 degrees. Despite the sunshine, wind chill values may make it feel like it's between 25 and 35 degrees.
Later in the day, the wind is expected to calm down, but it will still be chilly. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low of around 32 degrees.
If you're heading out, make sure to bundle up and layer your clothing to stay warm in the cold temperatures.
