Four People Arrested at Hoboken Public Housing Complex on Drug, Weapon Charges

Following a six-week investigation, police announced the arrest of four people Thursday, charged with drug and weapon-related charges.

According to authorities, the Hudson County Regional Swat Team, along with Hudson County Sheriff K-9 Unit and Hoboken police officers arrested Randell Richardson, 42; his mom, Cathy Y. Richardson, 61; his nephew, Eric Richardson, 20; and Jerika Martinez, after they raided a third-floor apartment on the 300 block of Jackson Street.

Police charged the four individuals with drug possession with intent to distribute and weapon possession. All four were taken to Hudson County Rehabilitation Center until their detentions hearings.

Officials say detectives seized a handgun and more than 60 bags of heroin, several bags of crack cocaine and marijuana, drug paraphernalia and more than $500 in drug sales proceeds.
