Four NJ High School Wrestlers Arrested for Alleged Locker Room Shower Hazing Incident

Authorities have charged four Arthur P. Schalick High School students with aggravated assault and other charges following an investigation into a hazing incident.

According to Salem County Prosecutor John T. Lenahan, the Arthur P. Schalick High School students - who have not been identified - are accused of stripping a victim in a shower area at the school, restraining that victim and threatening to assault the victim with a broomstick.

Officials say the students have been charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, criminal restraint, conspiracy to commit criminal restraint, hazing, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, conspiracy to possess a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy to unlawfully possess a weapon.

The incident remains under investigation the prosecutor’s office and New Jersey State Police.
