Four-Car Crash Leaves Two with Minor Injuries in Jersey City

An early morning crash involving as

many as four cars caused major delays on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to police.

Police responded to the area near exit 14B at approximately 6:08 a.m. for a report of a multi-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, troopers assisted the occupants in the four vehicles involved including a pickup truck that was carrying glass.

Two people suffered minor injuries but refused medical assistance.

The left and center lanes remained closed for more than an hour as crews cleaned up the crash debris and shattered glass.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
