Former Union County Daycare Employees' Probationary Program Request Denied

Elizabeth

Two former day care workers accused of instigating fights among children in a Cranford daycare, were denied admission into a pre-trial probationary program.

According to Union County Assistant Prosecutor Michael Sheets, Erica Kenny, 22, and Chanese White, 28, both applied to enter the Pre-Trial Intervention Program, which would have resulted in the dismissal of all charges and wiped their records. However, yesterday their applications were rejected by the PTI program's director.

The case will now go before a grand jury for a hearing on the charges.
