Former NJ Airman Charged With Possession of Explicit Images of Minors

A Gloucester County, New Jersey, man was charged today with possession of explicit images of minors, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.

According to federal officials, Kyle Daniel Reese, 29, of Williamstown, is charged by complaint with one count of possession of explicit images of minors.

Officials said he appeared in Camden federal court and was detained.

According to documents filed in this case and statements made in court:

In October and November 2020, while Reese was serving a term of home detention due to a prior federal conviction for receipt of explicit images of minors, Reese accessed the images using his iPhone.

According to authorities, the explicit sexual images of minors was subsequently uncovered after Reese’s probation officer seized his iPhone.

A search of the phone revealed 86 files containing child pornography.

The count of possession of explicit images of minors carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, a maximum of 20 years in prison, and a fine of $250,000.
