A foot pursuit of a suspect wanted for suspicious activities in a neighborhood had authorities engaged in a food pursuit early this morning in Paterson.
Cops attempting to question the suspect after locating him acting suspicious and fitting the description of an unidentified man that was phone in by residents in the area, sprinted away from cops shortly before 5 a.m. initiating the pursuit.
Back-up units were called to the area where they were able to chase down and apprehend the suspect a short distance away.
A search of the suspect had officers locate a weapon and CDS according to reports.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
