A foot pursuit that happened in the area of Sayre Street had police apprehend two suspects responsible for robberies in the area.
Cops on routine patrol on Sayre Street and West Kinney Street at around 11:45 a.m. spotted two suspects that fit the description of assailants wanted for earlier armed robberies in the area.
When police attempted to interrogate the pair, the suspects fled on foot causing a brief pursuit with several units assisting.
The suspects were apprehended with no injuries immediately reported.
