The FDNY, NYPD and Bayshore marine units assisted in the rescue of several people who fell into the waters after their boat capsized in Keansburg on Friday night.
According to a brief statement by authorities, the incident happened just before 9 p.m. near the fishing pier on Beachway Avenue.
Monmouth County authorities say none of the victims suffered severe injuries, but one person did require some treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
