A person injured by fireworks in Irvington overnight has authorities investigating.
EMS were called to the 300 block of Eastern Parkway shortly before 11:30 p.m. on reports of an injured person according to reports.
Arriving emergency responders located the male victim suffering a serious hand injury after ignited firework reportedly exploded in his hand.
The victim was transported to the hospital where his injuries were not reported to be life threatening.
It is not immediately clear where the victim obtained the fire works.
Irvington police are investigating.
