Fire officials in Burlington County are investigating a fire that broke out at an apartment complex Sunday night.

Multiple fire departments joined Maple Shade Firefighters in the region battling a multi-alarm fire that broke out at the Fox Meadow Apartments located at 5 Adams Drive around 10:30 p.m.

Firefighters arrived and found fire engulfing a portion of one of the buildings at the complex, with reports of several individuals trapped inside an apartment.

Crews stretched several lines and began to get the upper hand on intense fire that started to not spread to other apartments.

At least one civilian was administered CPR and then rushed to an area hospital for further treatment.

According to preliminary reports, a firefighter and two other victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries due to the fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
