An explosion at a Fairview Road home in Clark sent numerous firefighters to the scene this afternoon.

Crews responded to the 30's block of Fairview Road for a report of an explosion sometime before 2 p.m.

Although very few details were immediately available, the township fire department could confirm that a gas explosion had occurred at that location, which blew out the home's windows and doors, resulting in 'slight' injuries to owner of the home.

Adding that the incident remains under investigation at this time.

Elizabethtown Gas was at the scene and gas to the home was shut off.
