There were no immediate reports of injuries after a car ignited in Elizabeth Tuesday afternoon.
According to authorities, firefighters responded to the area of East Jersey Street near Catherine Street sometime before 2 p.m for a report of a car fire.
Crews arrived at the scene and found the fully engulfed vehicle. Firefighters extinguished the fire a short time later.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
