Firefighters Battle Raging Early-Morning Blaze in Rahway Home

Early Tuesday morning, over two dozen firefighters in Union County bravely fought a fierce multi-alarm fire that tore through a residence in Rahway.Real EstateThe emergency began around 1:10 a.m. when multiple 911 calls reported flames engulfing a home in the 1600 block of Lawrence Street.

Upon arrival, firefighters immediately sprang into action, deploying about four lines to douse the intense blaze emanating from the two-story brick-faced house.

Flames were seen roaring out of second-floor windows, consuming the structure. 

As of 3:30 a.m., fire officials confirmed no injuries, yet the relentless fire persisted stubbornly and destroyed the building.

The cause of the inferno remains under investigation as authorities work diligently to determine its origin.
