A raging three-alarm fire has Elizabeth firefighters on the scene battling a stubborn house blaze.
According to preliminary reports, heavy fire broke out inside a three-story home located on the 600 block of Franklin Street shortly before 4 p.m.

Crews arrived at the scene and began to run several lines after observing smoke and flames pour from the upper floors of the home.
Officials say the next door home also sustained damaged.
There are unconfirmed reports of two injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
