Bayonne Firefighters responded to a fire that ignited inside a home in the town on Friday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the 2-alarm fire happened at 9 New Street at approximately 8:45 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to find flames coming from the second floor of the three-story house which caused them to stretch several lines to attack the blaze.
Crews were able to knock the flames down in under a half-hour with no injuries reported after they search the home for trapped occupants.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
