Police in Jersey City is investigating what caused a fight that seriously injured a juvenile at a restaurant Friday afternoon.
The afterschool brawl broke out among several individuals at the McDonald's restaurant in the 400 block of Grand Street around 3:15 p.m.
Police arrived and found a teenager bleeding heavily after a physical altercation.
The victim was transported the short distance to Jersey City Medical center for treatment and is expected to recover.
After being maced at the scene, a second person was treated for pepper spray exposure.
Police announced no immediate reports of arrests.
