There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a male victim who suffered a stab wound during a domestic dispute in Newark on Thursday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to 9 Summit Street to investigate reports of a domestic assault in progress just before 2:35 a.m.
Units arrived at the scene found a male victim suffering a minor stab injury after being engaged in a heated confrontation with a female which had the pair reportedly throwing personal items out of an apartment window at that location.
Police detained the woman then charged her with the assault according to reports.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
