Jersey City police are investigating the motive behind a stabbing that injured a female in a section of the town Saturday night.
Officers requested EMS units to rush to the 20's block of Sal-Laf-Ct after they found a female victim bleeding heavily and suffering stab wounds.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and the extent of her condition could not be confirmed.
Police have not released the motive for the stabbing at this time.
No arrests have been reported.
