Authorities in Mercer County announced that an investigation is being led into a stabbing death in the city.
Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey reported that at approximately 7:05 p.m. Wednesday evening, May 14, a male with a stab wound to the abdomen arrived via private vehicle at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
The victim, identified as Jermaine Scott, 48, of Hamilton, was rushed into surgery but succumbed to his injuries a short time later, Trenton Police said.
According to Mercer County officials, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
