Fatal Stabbing in New Brunswick Under Investigation

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department announced today that a man was stabbed to death in the City of New Brunswick, and the matter is currently under investigation.

According to officials, on Tuesday, June 14, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Seaman Street and Railroad Avenue following the report of a stabbing. 

Officials said that upon their arrival, officers located Sanddi Cruz, 31, of New Brunswick, who sustained multiple stab wounds to the chest. 

Cruz succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
