Officials the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office are conducting a homicide investigation for a shooting that killed a person on a street in Trenton Friday night.
According to officials, gunfire rang out in the 200 block of Spring Street at approximately 11 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a male victim suffering bullet wounds in his chest, according to Mercer County officials.
The unidentified male was transported to Helene Fuld Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead a short time later.
Mercer County officials said the suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting and remain at-large.
