The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a shooting that left a person dead in Jersey City Tuesday night.
At approximately 9 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 70's block of Dales Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found a severely wounded person suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Police administered CPR on the unidentified victim, who was dead at the scene.
Officers reportedly recovered a handgun at the scene, but the suspects fled and remained at large.
No other injuries were reported.
