Hoboken authorities are investigating a pedestrian strike that left one person dead in the city overnight.
Emergency responders rushed to the 600 block of Willow Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. where they found the victim suffering critical injuries at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital where their injuries ultimately turned fatal a short time later.
Police and an investigation team were on the scene trying to determine the cause of the incident.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
