Authorities in Middlesex County are investigating a crash that left one person fatally injured overnight.
Emergency responders rushed to the 300 block of Pleasant Hill Road on reports of a crash with serious injuries reported at around 3:30 a.m.
Arriving first responders located an overturned vehicle with at least one person trapped inside.
The victim was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash location borders Monroe, Cranbury Township, and South Brunswick, so it is unclear exactly what jurisdiction the crash actually occurred in.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and has not identified the victim at this time.
