Passaic County authorities have confirmed a fatality after a woman fell several stories from a building in Paterson Saturday night.
According to police, emergency responders rushed to 114 Straight Street to investigate reports of an injured person at around 8:50 p.m.
Rescue crews arrived and found the severely injured unidentified woman lying on the ground after she fell four stories from a window of the Straight Street Commons building.
EMS provided CPR on the woman before rushing her to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment. Police say she died at the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
