Ther is an active investigation into a car crash that left one person dead overnight in Delran.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened near the intersection of Hartford and Summerhill roads shortly before 11:15 p.m. sending emergency responders to the scene where they arrived to find an overturned car with trapped occupants inside.
Rescue crews were able to extricate two victims from the vehicle with one of the injured being pronounced dead a short time later reports said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
