A fatal late night car crash that happened in Caldwell is under investigation this morning.
A spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office has confirmed at least one fatality in a crash that happened in the area of Mountain Ave. and Hatfield Street at around midnight.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that at least one vehicle overturned causing several people to become trapped.
The victims were taken to St. Josephs Hospital in Paterson where one of them has died.
