Police in Berkeley Township are investigating a car fire that reportedly caused fatal injuries to a person in a NJ state park early Thursday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Dover Forge Canoe Access in Double Trouble State Park at approximately 1 a.m. to investigate reports of a vehicle on fire.
Police and firefighters arrived at the scene and found the car engulfed in flames with an unidentified person trapped inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no other injuries reported.
