Fall-Like Chill Greets New Jersey Tuesday Morning as Sunshine Returns

Newark

By: Richard L. Smith

We are waking up feeling more like fall on this Tuesday morning across New Jersey.

Good morning, Jersey! It’s a chilly start out there, making it a great morning to crack open the windows and let some fresh air into the house.

There’s definitely a fall-like feel in the air, with temperatures dipping into the 50s across much of the state early this morning.

Montville is around 58 degrees, Newark is near 57, Trenton is in the low-to-mid 50s, Toms River is around 52, and Paterson is also starting the day near 52 degrees.

We’ll have plenty of sunshine today, but it won’t be enough to push temperatures much beyond the lower 70s.

According to the National Weather Service, expect sunny skies with a high near 72 degrees. North winds of 5 to 7 mph will become light and variable during the afternoon.

Tonight will remain mostly clear and cool, with temperatures falling to around 58 degrees.

Enjoy the sunshine and that early taste of fall.

Make it a great day, Jersey!
