HAPPENING TODAY: Expect Street Closures in Downtown Newark Due to Warner Brothers Feature Film Production

Newark city officials have announced that an upcoming production of a feature film by Warner Brothers will close a number of streets and parking restrictions will be in effect from Saturday, October 13th to Wednesday, October 17th, 2018.

According to Newark Police, due to the traffic congestion resulting from this event, we are encouraging those traveling in the area to allow for extra time and to plan alternative routes.

**STREET CLOSURE INFORMATION:**

*Tuesday, October 15th, beginning 4 p.m. to 8 a.m., the following streets will be closed:**

• Market Street between Mulberry Street and University Avenue

• Washington Street between Raymond Boulevard and Market Street

• Halsey Street between William Street and Bank Street

• Academy Street between Broad Street and University Avenue

• Branford Place between Washington Street and Broad Street

Parking will be restricted from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m. at:

• Both sides of Washington Street between Raymond Boulevard and Market Street

**Tuesday, October 16th, beginning 4 p.m. to 8 a.m., the following streets will be closed:**

• Market Street between Broad Street and Washington Street

• Halsey Street between William Street and Bank Street

• Branford Place between Washington Street and Broad Street

Parking will be restricted from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m. at:

• Both sides of Halsey Street between William Street and Bank Street
